We are an active chamber and convention & visitors bureau
with nearly 400 member investors who are working together to make
Guthrie a better place to live and work. We participate in coordinated
efforts with other local chambers and the State Chamber. In
conjunction with The Logan County Economic Development Council
and The City of Guthrie, the Guthrie Chamber is a leader in stimulating
and encouraging new business development through economic and
industrial growth. Working with state and local government
representatives, we strive to improve our community by helping
to pass legislation that is beneficial to business growth and to the
quality of life for our city and the surrounding area.
We promote business in Guthrie by engaging in targeted advertising
objectives and in providing numerous ways in which business
members can take advantage of networking and advertising
opportunities. To this end, we sponsor an interactive calendar of
events and weekly Chamber Coffees where members are encouraged
to meet and exchange ideas with their neighbors and stay informed
about community events. We have Twitter and Facebook pages and send
scheduled e-mail updates on our Monday Morning Memo to Chamber
membership and the Guthrie Tattler, a newsletter for Guthrie citizens.
The Chamber's web site, www.guthrieok.com is dedicated to providing
access to and information about Guthrie Chamber members and to
promote tourism aimed at the thousands of visitors who spend their
dollars in our city. Our office answers hundreds of questions each
week from people who need assistance and directing them to member
businesses. We also sponsor, host and promote special events that
show off the extraordinary city that is Guthrie.
