It's 89ers Week+ in Guthrie!

Here is a list of the FANTASTIC 89ers events happening in Guthrie, Oklahoma this week as well as other fun and exciting events happening this weekend!



​Starting on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 & Runs through Saturday, April 18th, 2026

​11:00am CST

Starting at 11:00am, your chance to graze and shop your way through Guthrie begins! A broad variety of food trucks, craft merchants, and business vendors will be set up along 1st street, from Cleveland to Harrison, offering a variety of delicious food offering and a colorful collection of souvenirs and services. Downtown Guthrie shops and restaurants will also be open with unique food, goods, and services.

89er Day's hosts an annual carnival. Pride Amusement Carnival at W. Cleveland & 2nd will open Wednesday, April 15 at 4:30 and run through Saturday, April 18. Hours are as follows: Wed & Thur: 4:30-10:00pm with $30 wristbands, Friday: 4:30pm-11:00pm with $30 wristbands, Saturday: Session 1-- 1-6pm with $30 wristbands, Session 2-- 5-11pm with $30 wristbands. All rides are 5 tickets (individual tickets are $1.00each)

89er 5K Run

Was “run my first race” on your list for 2026? Then get ready for our 89er 5K!

Join us Saturday, April 18th at 9:00 am! The fun starts and finishes at beautiful Honor Park (300 W. Harrison). This event is perfect for ALL ages and fitness levels – whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting out! Come join the fun!

Big Wheel Race!  


Get ready, little racers! The Guthrie Kiwanis Club is bringing the thrill of the open road to the heart of 89er Days with the Big Wheel Bike Race! On April 17th at 5pm, the corner of Oklahoma and 1st Street will transform into a mini-speedway for pint-sized champions ages 3-7. Imagine the cheers, the laughter, and the pure joy as your kiddos show off their big wheel skills in a fun-filled, family-friendly event! Don’t miss this adorable and exciting highlight of the 89er Days celebration!

Free Museum Day at Oklahoma Territorial Museum!

In conjunction with the 89er Days Celebrations--Oklahoma Territorial Museum celebrates their annual FREE MUSEUM DAY! The museum opens its doors to the public at no cost! Be sure and take time to visit this Oklahoma treasure!

Oklahoma's Oldest & Largest Parade is entering its 97th year! The '89er Days Parade begins April 18th at 12pm at the corner of Capitol Street & Oklahoma. The parade will travel down Oklahoma, through Historic Downtown Guthrie, to 2nd street, where the procession will turn left after the Post Office building. The parade will then continue to Harrison and then turn left, and then it will continue up Harrison, through Downtown Guthrie, returning to the Masonic Temple.


Arrive very early. Parking fills up quickly, as do prime spots for parade watching!


U.S. Territorial Marshals Show--Meet Judge Parker And Men Who Rode For Him!

Have you ever had the chance to meet the Judge Parker and the men who rode for him? If you haven’t, we have an unforgettable experience waiting for you! Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 18th, when they will make a special appearance in our parade, complete with their historic jail. But the excitement doesn’t stop there—join us after the parade for a FREE program with these amazing characters. This is your opportunity to connect with history!

The Truck Gathering 2026 event will be held in Guthrie Oklahoma at the Cottonwood Flats Recreation area, 308-398 N 5th St. Guthrie, OK, 73044. The Gathering will have use of 30 to 40 acres of grassy area with trees.


Friday April 17th from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday April 18th from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. These hours are subject to change as needed prior to the event.
