Guthrie Renaissance & Fantasy Festival is kicking off its 5th year with the exciting addition of a second weekend! Because of the incredible support the festival has received, it is proudly expanding to two full weekends—March 21-22 and March 28-29, 2026. Of course, this means twice the magic, merriment, and chances to lose yourself in Oklahoma’s most creative and immersive Renaissance experience. Immerse yourself in a world of jousting and sword- wielding knights, joking jesters, parading pirates, and very intimidating Vikings—just to scratch the surface. A trip to historic Guthrie is always a step back in time, but a trip to the Guthrie Renaissance & Fantasy Festival is a giant leap into lost worlds, both real and imagined.
Set on 80 beautiful acres, there is plenty of space to wander—through the artisans and craft vendors offering unique (as well as useful) treasures you will want to take home with you, the numerous and varied, delicious food vendors, from traditional favorites to new fare to discover and enjoy. Take in the birds of prey show, belly dancing, juggling, or fire performances, bagpipes and other musical menageries, ax throwing contests, Oklahoma Mermaids, dragons and other inflatables, historical demos, storytellers, warhorse rides, petting zoos, and so much more. Prepare for pure magic around every corner! This year, there will be a THIRD stage to accommodate the abundance of entertainment the Faire offers.
Guthrie Renaissance & Fantasy Festival proudly announces its selection for the first time as an official site of the Highland Games! Introducing the Oklahoma Celtic Clash (OCC)—brought to you by the same team you know and love from the Stirling Classic Scottish Festival. Calling athletes from near and far—at only $30 to register—teams will be assigned the day of, and spots will go fast. All are welcome—be a part of the Highland Games! Come see Oklahoma’s largest wooden trebuchet launch and destroy!
