Get away to Guthrie for Labor Day Weekend!

Start your Labor Day early with a drive-in movie Friday night at the historic Beacon Drive In!

Jungle Cruise starts at dusk: Adult (12+): $7.00 Children (3-11): $4.00

After staying at one of Guthrie’s long list of bed and breakfasts or hotels, roll over to Midwest Jeepfest Saturday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Jeepfest is an outdoor off-road event for Jeep enthusiasts, spectators, and kids benefiting the Paralyzed Veterans of America. A $5 day pass will allow children to enjoy an “inflatable carnival,” and a rock climbing wall. If you want to test your Jeep’s off road capabilities, drive the improved and expanded off-road track!

Head over to downtown Guthrie to do a little shopping and grab dinner at one of our fantastic restaurants like Gage’s Steakhouse, Stables Café , or Roma’s Italian Restaurant, and then get ready for an incredible evening of live music at Red Brick Nights.

And if you just don’t want your evening to stop, just a few feet from the Red Brick Nights stage is Mack & Ike’s Goodtime Saloon with handcrafter cocktails made with Guthrie’s own WanderFolk Spirits.

After relaxing back at your delightful Guthrie b&b Saturday night, walk over to Simone’s Café or Katie’s Diner for a delicious Sunday breakfast.

At this point let's be honest, we've probably consumed more than our share of good food ... how about a little exercise at the Highland Park Disc Golf Course?! ...

Or take the kiddos to a splash pad, basketball courts, tennis courts, pickleball courts, playgrounds at Banner or Mineral Wells Park. Plenty of picnic and shelter space at all our City of Guthrie parks for that perfect Labor Day picnic ...

Happy Labor Day, Friends!
