The Pollard Theatre in downtown Guthrie has a long history of delighting audiences, as well as delivering top-notch productions, and THE SHARK IS BROKEN is no exception. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Jaws, Pollard’s presentation provides a glimpse into the frustrations of filming this 70’s movie masterpiece. The lead actors—Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss and Roy Scheider—find themselves crammed into a too-small boat, riddled with foul weather and the unwelcome news that the shark is broken…AGAIN! This play about “the greatest movie almost never made” opens June 13 and runs weekends through July 5.
