Be sure and ask about their “Open Studio” days while you’re there. Adding another delightful layer to Guthrie's arts and crafts scene is the Oklahoma Mini Mill (OMM), a unique carding mill nestled right on the edge of town. This boutique mill, run by dedicated proprietors, Van & Cheri French, is a true haven for fiber artists and hand-spinners, meticulously cleaning and processing all types of animal fiber into beautiful roving, bumps, or batts. Fiber enthusiasts from across the region visit or send their precious fleeces to OMM, knowing they'll receive a custom-processed, high-quality art material, perfect for spinning, felting, or creating their next masterpiece.
