Guthrie Events: February 2021

February 2nd

  • Oklahoma Territorial Museum at 406 E. Oklahoma Ave. in Guthrie presents the opening of two Smithsonian exhibitions (Feb. 2-May 31): “A Place for All People”, the rich & diverse story of the African American experience “World War I Lessons & Legacies”. See the museum & these exhibitions 9-5, Tues-Sat, $7 adults, $5 seniors, $4 kids 4-18.

  • In place of the annual in-person Valentine event, the museum has “take & make” Victorian Valentine craft packets, which may be picked up 2/2-2/13 during open hours, $1 each.

February 6th

  • The Byron Berline Band bluegrass music show @ Double Stop Music Hall, 121 E. Oklahoma, $15. 282-6646

  • Lazy E Arena- Red Dirt Team Roping.

  • “My Vexxed Valentine” at Guthrie Haunts, 4524 Riverside Circle, Guthrie. 7:00pm-11:00pm. Scary fun for Valentines Weekend, $20 per couple or $15 for singles, cash only, ticket window opens at 7pm.

February 13th

  • Time to wear a fancy hat for the 6th Annual “Crowns Tea” reception and program at Guthrie Public Library, 1:00pm-4:30pm. Based on the book “Crowns: Portraits of Black Women in Church Hats”, all are welcome to this free event, but must reserve at Library, 282-0050 ext. 3.

February 20th

  • Fiddle Fest, featuring fiddlers of all ages, along with The Byron Berline Band. @Double Double Stop Music Hall, 211 E. Oklahoma, call 282-6646 to reserve, $15 at the door, 282-6646
