This Weekend+ In Guthrie! October 1st through October 4th, 2026
Here are just a few of the FANTASTIC events happening in Guthrie, Oklahoma this weekend!
Fall Classes at TerraRosa Art Gallery & Creative Space!

Painting with Oils & Acrylics with Shaun Frankfurt, Beginner to Advanced • 4 Weeks • $200, October 1, 8, 15 & November 5, 2026, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
This isn't a class about finishing a pretty picture — it's a class about learning to truly see. Over four weeks, we'll slow down and build the habits that separate painters who guess from painters who know: training the eye through the profound squint, understanding how color and value relate, and mapping light, temperature, and space with intention, not instinct.
Whether you're picking up a brush for the first time or you've been painting for years, you'll be met where you are. We'll work in both oils and acrylics, tackling composition and balance, linear and atmospheric perspective, and the honest, humbling work of self-critique — because real growth in painting comes from recognizing the problem, not covering it up. Supplies not included!
🎨Finding Your Creative Spark Through Art Journaling with London Priest, Starting October 1, 2026, Thursdays | 5 Weeks, 6:30–8:30 PM, $200 per person
Whether you’re a beginner or a longtime artist, we all experience creative blocks. This fun and inspiring class is an opportunity to let go of perfectionism, reconnect with your inner child, and simply enjoy the process of making art.
Throughout the five weeks, London will guide students through a variety of techniques, art mediums, and creative exercises designed to encourage creative thinking and self-expression. You’ll explore how to channel your thoughts, feelings, and intuition into your art while developing a deeper connection to your own creative voice.
Come create. Experiment. Play. And find your spark. 💫Terra Rosa Art Gallery, 111 E Oklahoma Ave. Learn more and register at www.terrarosagallery.com
